Thanks for the history Ike. It's interesting, after seeing "1.0", maybe I'm not the only one trying to emulate you. If Drew's blog undergoes a facelift that looks like "2.0" or calls it "Truth and Repose 2.0", I'm gonna worry...or invite him into my cult.

Ironically, "Accentuate the Positive" (1.0) looked an awful lot like <a href="http://dkizer.blogspot.com/" rel="nofollow"><strike>Drew's Blog</strike>Truth and Repose</a>. You can catch an eight-second glimpse of it at http://positiveposition.blogspot.com before it redirects you back to the new page.

The "2.0" came about as I re-launched after a Katrina-related hiatus, using my own space/address/Wordpress installation. Some of the high-tech types might think I'm making some sort of statement about "Web 2.0" stuff, but not really.

I've always wondered what "Accentuate the Positive 1.0" looked like. What changed to warrant a 2.0? Was there a 1.5? Again these things are all important for me to know as I enbark on my journey of devotion to Ike.

Could the low ratings and lack of advertising have anything to do with the fact that the station is run by kooks who believe in astrology?
