Ike; I have been sick (my son, then me, then my husband) and busy and maybe a little funky myself, so I missed this post, but better late than never. I have missed you a lot out here.

As evidenced by your recent posts and your thoughful comments, you always have something insightful to add.

I have a blog funk about every two months, where I spend a week or more just visiting other sites and not writing anything on my blog. I always seem to rebound...

Hope all is well.

Believe it or not, I always read your posts here in Argentina. I work in Media Relations. So you can see you have some readers you didn't suspect to.

Regards from Buenos Aires.

Ike,

I'm sure you'll move past the funk. Besides, you have to. Who will I quote on Drew's blog? Who will I devote my life to?

Seriously, you've got a good thing going on here. Alot of times I don't think I have the mental capacity to understand all that you post, but I read it all the same. I'll agree that your comments are impressive (especially on Drew's blog..err..Truth and Repose), but your blog is pretty impressive as well.

ANDREA: Thanks for the talk and the advice. Let's figure out how to do something grand and make you some money.

DREW: You are the coolest. preacher. ever.

DANIEL: Thanks for the talk about something completely different. You can bet I'll stick around and comment more often. Let's work on that other idea that won't make anyone any money.

JOHN: Good to hear from you, my friend. The solo path is in my future, but not today. However, there are some things brewing/brooding on the horizon that might change the middle stop on that itinerary. Give me a shout...

EVERYBODY ELSE: Thanks for stopping by. I'll have something new of value here in the near future. I hope.

Funks are natural. The ideas will start flowing again soon.

Whether it's on this blog or elsewhere, just keep writing. More people are reading than you know. I've always enjoyed and respected your writing, even though I don't operate in the field of public relations.

Look at it this way: George Clinton wanted the funk...he needed the funk, and you got it without even asking.

Tear the roof off the sucker.
